Our school is a secondary school in a small town near the city of Ghent. Our students mainly come from the suburban region and local communities.

Our school belongs to the catholic network and provides a mixture of three educational forms (general education, technical education and vocational education) for boys and girls between 12- 19 years old.

Our students have diverse backgrounds: the majority comes from families of average wealth; a minority of our students are somewhat underprivileged and need extra care. A small number of students is disabled and needs special facilities. For that reason we get extra funding from the government to enhance equal educational opportunities in education (GOK).

The number of students with Turkish roots has risen throughout the last years and we also host several students of other nationalities.  Our policy is to treat all students equally and we strive for integration and harmony. This is sometimes challenging, as a lot of prejudices are hard to get rid off.
